Oh hi there! I'm Nerrisa and I'm the creator of The Bargello Edit.

A few years ago, I fell out of love with sewing and in a bid to find a mindful and less involved craft, I discovered Bargello after a late night of scrolling through Pinterest. I was immediately struck by the bold patterns and colours and I knew I'd found my new crafty home.

For those of you who are new to Bargello, it's a tapestry method which dates back hundreds of years and the technique of using straight stitches to create striking, geometric patterns and the craft had the biggest and best resurgence in the seventies (Seriously, check out the vintage books from the time - bargello waistcoat anyone!?)

Fast-forward to now and although very much inspired by the retro variation of the craft, inspired myself by pattern and colour and I'm looking to bring this simple, mindful craft to a new audience of modern makers through a series of online workshops, kits and supplies.

So if you're looking to pick up a new hobby, or get reacquainted with an old one, I hope you can find something you love here at The Bargello Edit.
